Comments received from the FENSA installation of the year 2008 I first encountered Doors and Windows Ltd when they installed French windows and doors on either side in 2000. The manager even suggested window sills to blend with the decor, I was pleased with the result. The decorator I had afterwards was very impressed. I have had a few jobs over the years. Dave game me two quotes for my kitchen. This day, he asked me how I opened the fan light over the sink. I explained I climbed the step ladder and stood in the sink, I also had to do the same to close it. He asked if I mind telling him how old I was, I said I was 80. He asked if I knew there was an alternative to standing in the sink. He told me about windows hinged at the top which could be fixed to an opening. I wanted and get through the drought I needed. The handles would be at the window sill level (locking of course) and all this while standing on the floor. He answered all my questions, gave me a quote and I decided to go for it. From Chris the receptionist to the workman, I have been very impressed. They don’t need tea (they bring their own drinks) and make sure I know how the windows work and go cheerily on their way. Dave the manager has always been very helpful. I do feel this is a firm who could do with some acknowledgement whom I strongly recommend. As agreed, there will be a replacement glass unit for one window in our “study” to be fitted in a couple of weeks.
