Insurance Backed Guarantee

We have all heard of dodgy double-glazing firms ducking out of their guarantee obligations by folding the company and starting up again. The modern remedy is the ‘insurance-backed guarantee’.

In a nutshell these work because the insurance company, not the window installer, takes responsibility for the guarantee in return for a one-off payment and so will honour it even if the installer ceases to trade. The guarantee is transferable if you sell your home, has no top up premiums and no excess.

10 Year Product Guarantee

No Small Print - No Hidden Catches. We believe that this guarantee, exclusive to the Door & Window Centre Ltd, cannot be bettered in the industry. It sets out clearly what is covered and what is not. There is no small print and there are no hidden catches everything is open and up-front.

On registration, your deposit will be covered by a comprehensive indemnity policy which the Door & Window Centre is obliged to register you with. This means that in the event that your work cannot be completed, you are fully covered.

Why our profiles are made by Veka

It’s certainly the most well known in the market, and VEKA enjoys its status as the biggest and most respected supplier of extrusion systems for uPVC windows. The company has earned this reputation for a number of reasons, and it really is a well deserved one.

Of course the main reason that people rate VEKA so highly is the clearly measurable quality of their systems. Today represented worldwide and with a number of manufacturing centres scattered across the globe, the company has continually developed its product range. A combination of skills and knowledge have been poured into the products, and the end result is typically a system that demonstrates excellence both technically and in design.

Having been involved in the industry for many years, VEKA have a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to hand when it comes to developing their profile systems. The standard set by the company effectively now sets the benchmark across the industry as a whole.

An extensive range of systems is available, differing in terms of technology and design. You can therefore choose from a set of options designed to cater to any technical requirements you may have, and to achieving the visual style that you’re working to create.

VEKA’s profile systems utilise PVC-U that is designed to have a long life, and is therefore equipped with the ability to withstand whatever the environment has to throw at it, whether in a rural area exposed to intense weather, or in urban areas that are heavily polluted. The systems are used in a huge variety of projects large or small, from domestic through to prominent building works.

The construction is the product of detailed design work, and pays attention to drainage, stability, reinforcement and of course insulation. The company’s Matrix range of systems really represent the high standard that has been achieved at VEKA, and have been arrived at following a lengthy process of development, design and testing, all of which is visible when you see the quality and attractiveness of the systems.

This commitment to continued development has recently become again visible in the company’s attention to environmental concerns. Through aspiring to extremely high standards in heat retention, and the creation of PVC-U recycling facilities, VEKA has set an excellent example to manufacturers throughout the industry, and demonstrated to their customers that they work according to a comprehensive set of principles, not just technical but also professional and ethical.

VEKA also offers excellent customer service together with an extensive technical support programme. Good service is hugely important in construction projects, and VEKA have proven their worth here yet again. The technical support that you receive is genuinely second to none, and must be part of the reason people choose to return to the company’s products again and again.

With a commitment to quality that runs through the whole process, from the research and development of the systems themselves through to taking care of you as a customer at the other end, VEKA just seems to do everything right.
